About our Graduate Program

Roy Hill's two-year Graduate Development Program is designed to develop our future leaders. You’ll be immersed in our business, rotating across a variety of projects and teams designed to build your technical capability and nurture your unique talents and interests.

We offer technical pathways in engineering, geosciences, environmental science and metallurgy, and invite applications from students seeking a career in finance, information technology, and business / commerce pathways. Specific opportunities vary from year to year based on project and operational requirements and include fly-in-fly-out, Perth based, and Port Hedland based roles.

Whatever pathway you choose, you’ll be doing challenging and meaningful work with accountability for projects and initiatives aligned to your career aspirations.  As a graduate joining one of the largest private mining companies in the world, you'll be mentored by leading experts in your field and exposed to the innovative new technologies and ways of working.

Throughout the program, you'll be supported by our dedicated career advisory team and graduate champions. We will manage and coordinate your induction and your rotations and facilitate a tailored personal and professional development journey with a combination of formal and on-the-job training, workshops and learning experiences. The team will also be on hand to guide you and provide opportunities for you to meet and socialise with your peers.
