We’re on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Trainer Assessor – Maintenance to join our dynamic Training team!

 

In this vital role, you’ll be at the forefront of developing the skills and competencies of our processing plant maintenance crew. Your expertise will ensure our people work safely, effectively, and with confidence every day.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Design and deliver engaging training programs.
  • Conduct hands-on assessments to verify technical skills and knowledge.
  • Provide real-time coaching, support, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to tailor training solutions.
  • Keep detailed training records and ensure compliance with all requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement across our training systems and materials.
  • Participate in safety inspections and play an active role in fostering a strong safety culture.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and support operational requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of digital learning content and resources.

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Previous experience in mining or heavy industry environments.
  • Solid understanding of maintenance procedures, tools, and safety practices.
  • High Risk Work Assessor Accreditation (WorkSafe WA) desirable.
  • Prior experience delivering impactful training and conducting practical assessments.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • A collaborative spirit, strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.

 

Required Qualifications:
 

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or working towards completion.
  • Manual C-Class Driver’s Licence.
  • High Risk Work Licence – DG, LF, WP, RB
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space
