About the role:

The Procurement & Supply team is currently seeking a Supervisor Warehouse to join them on a 14_14 FIFO Roster (7 days, 7 nights) based at the Roy Hill Mine. Reporting to the Superintendent Warehouse, you will be responsible for ensuring that all supply chain customer service outputs are achieved in accordance with Roy Hill processes and site Standard Operating Procedures.

 

This will include, but not be limited to ensuring that the supply chain material and information flow meets or exceeds required KPIs and is consistently repeatable and ensuring that the Roy Hill operating philosophy is adopted in all supply chain practices.


Duties:

  • Warehouse supervision of warehouse operations and personnel.
  • Attend planning meetings with key customers to identify long term and evolving supply requirements.
  • Ensure regular stocktake program is implemented.
  • Implement and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to provide a safe place of work for all operators performing reoccurring daily tasks.
  • Review daily tasks and systems to continuously improve services to customers.
  • Review reagent usage and reconciliation on site.
  • Coordinate waste management and disposal with the environmental department in accordance with environmental procedures (i.e. oil bins, scrap bins, steel bins)
  • Ensure costs are minimized by constantly examining practices for improving efficiencies and productivity.
  • Allocate equipment and tasks to ensure plans are followed in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • End of month reporting.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Certificates in Warehouse or Supply Chain
  • Extensive warehouse and supply chain experience
  • Proven supervisory experience in addition to the experience above
  • Forklift (High Risk) License and experience operating a piece of warehouse ancillary equipment
  • Experience working a night shift.
