About the role:
We're looking for a Superintendent Emergency Services and Security to play a critical role in ensuring the safety and protection of our people, assets, and environment.
Reporting to the Manager of Health & Safety, you'll take charge of medical, emergency response and site security across our operations. You'll develop strategies, build resilience, and lead teams that are ready for anything.
Duties:
· Lead the development and delivery of emergency response plans and training.
· Oversee all site security operations to safeguard people and infrastructure.
· Maintain legislative compliance for medical, emergency response and security activities across site.
· Conduct risk assessments and audits, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.
· Collaborate with emergency services and regulators to ensure full compliance.
· Monitor and improve emergency management and security performance.
· Contribute to business continuity planning.
· Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions.
· Promote a culture of safety, security, and preparedness site-wide.
Skills and Experience:
· C-Class Manual Driver’s Licence.
· Previous experience in emergency services.
· Background in mining/resources industry in a similar leadership role.
· Strong knowledge of Emergency and Security Management Systems.
· Familiarity with Australian Standards and AIIMS.
· Understanding of legislative and regulatory frameworks.
· Proven ability to implement risk management processes.
