About the role:

The Processing team at Roy Hill is seeking a passionate and driven Production Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role, based at our world-class mine site, offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our operations while working on an 8:6 roster.

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will play a key role in driving consistency across the Production team’s operating standards, processes, and practices. You will lead strategic initiatives and programs of work that support the achievement of the Production Department’s business plan goals.

This role provides exposure across the entire production execution process, offering the opportunity to collaborate with and support the Production Execution Superintendents while leading through influence.

Duties:

• Monitor, report with leaders on systems and process to deliver department outcomes
• Trouble shoot and problem solve critical plant issues, including infield analysis engagement with SME’s
• Interface with Maintenance and Shutdown teams to support optimal planning of work scopes, reducing risk and increasing safety
• Standardise and optimise operator routines and production practices across all crews

Skills and Experience:

• Sound technical operations and planning skills, including ability to formulate and collaboratively execute project plans
• Tertiary degree in a relevant field (desirable)
• Relevant experience in a Minerals Processing Plant or related industry
• Demonstrated experience in Leadership roles
• Ability to work effectively under pressure to deadlines, autonomously and as part of a team
