About the role:

Roy Hill is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Dewatering Operator to join our high-performing Water team.

In this hands-on role, you’ll play a crucial part in managing water across our mining operations—supporting both production and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Installation and maintenance of polyethylene piping and fittings (in-pit and ex-pit)
• Operation of bore fields
• Pipeline isolation and repairs
• Removal and reinstatement of water infrastructure
• Dewatering active and planned mining pits
• Supplying the process plant with the required quality and quantity of water
• Disposing of excess water via injection bore fields and dust suppression systems
• Operating and maintaining water infrastructure in accordance with Roy Hill’s licensing obligations

Required Experience and Licences:
 

• Prior experience in dewatering or within mining operations
• Manual C Class Driver’s Licence
• Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence
• Experience with IT Loaders and Dogman duties (highly regarded)
• Poly welding and extrusion welding experience (highly regarded)
