Reporting to the Supervisor Mobile Maintenance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our diverse and advanced heavy mobile equipment fleet.


Duties:

 

  • Conduct inspections, servicing, repairs, and maintenance to ensure fleet reliability and efficiency
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, ensuring maximum equipment availability
  • Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with a strong focus on safety and quality
  • Apply your expertise in heavy mobile equipment to drive operational excellence

 

Equipment You’ll Be Working On:

 

  • Haul Trucks – Hitachi (EH4000 & EH5000), CAT (777 & 793F)
  • Loaders – CAT (994, 992, 854)
  • Water Carts – CAT (785 & 777)
  • Graders – CAT (24M, 18M & 16M)

 

Skills and experience:
 

  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology required
  • Current manual C class driver’s licence required
  • Proven experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment in a mining or heavy industry
  • Desirable licences: Forklift (LF), Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Crane, Dogging, and Basic Rigging
