Reporting to the Supervisor Boilermaker, you will be a crucial part in ensuring the optimal performance of our diverse and advanced heavy mobile equipment fleet.


Duties:

 

  • Fabrication, repairs, and maintenance of mobile equipment structures and components
  • Welding and cutting to industry standards
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Working collaboratively with a team to maintain fleet reliability

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding) required
  • Manual C Class Driver’s License required
  • High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) for welding and fabrication required
  • White Card (Construction Induction Training) required
  • Previous experience working on mining equipment
  • Working with wear packages, crack repairs, and structural modifications on heavy equipment
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding, as well as oxy-cutting and gouging
  • Certifications such as Forklift (LF), EWP, or Rigging/Dogging (advantageous)

  • Excavators: Hitachi (EX8000/ EX5600/ EX3600), Liebherr (9400/9600/9800)
  • Drills: Atlas Copco (PV271)
  • Dozers: Caterpillar (D10T, D10T2, D11, D11T)
  • Haul Trucks: Hitachi (EH4000 & EH5000), CAT (777 & 793F)  
  • Loaders: CAT (994, 992, 854)
  • Water Carts: CAT (785 & 777)
  • Graders: CAT (24M, 18M & 16M)
