About the role:

 

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Mechanical Coordinator – Non-Processing Infrastructure (NPI) to join our NPI team.

 

In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for integrating maintenance strategies across infrastructure facilities, applying a Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM II) approach. Your focus will be on driving safety, efficiency, and team collaboration, while fostering positive relationships across the business.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the reliability and performance of key infrastructure while developing your leadership capabilities in a dynamic mining environment.


Duties:

 

  • Coordinate and support a team of tradespeople, including providing supervisory relief as required
  • Assist in developing and executing risk-based activities and work method statements aligned with HSES Management standards
  • Communicate effectively through pre-starts, toolbox meetings, written updates, and face-to-face interactions
  • Report incidents, injuries, and near misses promptly, and ensure new hazards are identified and addressed

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Australian-recognised trade qualification in Plumbing, Mechanical Fitting or Water Treatment Operations Certificate required
  • Valid Australian C Class Manual Driver’s Licence required
  • High Risk Work Licences: Forklift, Dogging, Elevated Work Platform (EWP), and Non-slewing Crane highly desirable
  • Previous experience on Reverse Osmose plants and Wastewater Treatment Plants desirable
  • Previous experience with a Water Authority or Utility highly desirable
  • Previous experience in Mining Maintenance desirable
  • Experience with Work Management Platforms such as SAP desirable
