About the role:
At the heart of our mining operations, the Mining Production team is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated Mining Coordinator to enhance our team on a permanent basis.
This pivotal role reports directly to the Shift Superintendent and plays a crucial role in bolstering our mining operations. We are keen on individuals who are not just looking for a job but are aspiring to climb the leadership ladder and are genuinely excited about the prospects of autonomous mining technologies.
Duties:
- Ensure that all mining activities align with the daily shift plans, maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and safety
- Offer guidance and direction to both individuals and the team at large, fostering a collaborative environment where production targets are not just met but exceeded
- Ensure all equipment is operating in accordance with the internal training guidelines and aligned with manufacturer specifications
Skills and Experience:
- Experience operating a variety of mining equipment and understand the nuances of operating in a dynamic mining environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to give clear work instructions
- Demonstrated planning and scheduling experience enabling you to anticipate challenges and devise effective strategies
- Highly adaptable and flexible, able to work in a constantly changing environment
