About the role:
 

The Drill & Blast team are currently seeking a Coordinator Drill & Blast to join them.

The primary responsibilities of the Coordinator Drill & Blast are to ensure that drill and blast activities are executed in accordance with the daily shift plan, while providing direct supervision and accountability for the drill and blast crew. Seeking someone who is genuinely excited about the prospects of autonomous mining technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Ensure staff are informed, instructed, and trained with confirmation of understanding
• Ensure drill and blast activities are conducted in accordance with the daily shift plan
• Ensure operators are always adhering to operating standards
• Complete daily inspection reports

• Monitor and report on drill and blast performance metrics
• Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical support and guidance to the drill and blast crew
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
   

Qualifications:
 

Essential:

• Current Manual C Class Drivers Licence
• Experience working in a Drill & Blast team within an open pit mine
• Dangerous Goods Security Card

Desirable:

• Certificate IV in Surface Extraction Operations
• First Aid Certification
