About the role:

 

The Non-Processing Infrastructure team is currently seeking a Supervisor Infrastructure Maintenance to join them.
Reporting to the Superintendent NPI Port & Rail, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance activities for infrastructure, ensuring all electrical systems and equipment are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency.

 

NPI Assets Include:

 

  • HV and LV power systems
  • Company provided housing located in Port Hedland
  • Port & Rail potable water networks
  • Wastewater and oily water treatment plants
  • Sealed Roads
  • Statutory assets including overhead cranes, compressors, portable appliance testing, fire systems
  • Non-process infrastructure and crib facilities
  • Electrical and Diesel Fuel facilities
  • Vehicle wash stations


Duties:

 

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and electricians.
  • Small-medium size project supervision
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and support.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members.
  • Assist in the development of maintenance budgets and monitor expenditures.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes.

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Electrical Trade Certificate required.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role and understanding of S26 appointment responsibilities.
  • Strong experience in contractor management and compliance.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the mining and resources industry.
  • Familiarity with SAP maintenance planning systems, asset management, and work management processes.
  • Experience in risk management, contractor management, and change management processes.
  • Valid C class manual driver's license.
