About the role:
The Rail Maintenance team is currently seeking a Officer Track Protection to join them on a 14 Days on, 42 Days off Roster based at Port Hedland. Reporting to the Supervisor Rail Bound Plant, you will be responsible for providing Rail safe working methods and apply these in the field, optimising track network availabilities.
Duties:
- Apply track protection in accordance with the Roy Hill Safeworking Rules
- Liaise and coordinate maintenance windows with Roy Hill Train Control and Rail Scheduling Teams
- Resolving maintenance priorities in line with short term and long term production goals
- Maintain compliance with all legislative and statutory regulations in regard to safety and environment within your work scope
- Assist the team in performing routine Preventive Maintenance Instructions
Skills and Experience:
- Strong organisational & communication skills
- C Class Manual Driver’s License at minimum, MR/HR highly desirable
- SAP experience highly desirable
- Confident with IT systems: Teams, Excel, Word etc.
- Certificate II or III in Rail Infrastructure
