About the role:
The Operational Technology team is currently seeking a Technical Analyst to join them on a Monday - Friday Roster based at Perth. Reporting to the Manager Applications, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for Roy Hill’s business applications. This role involves troubleshooting application issues, ensuring optimal performance, and collaborating with various teams to implement and enhance application solutions that support the organisation's operational efficiency and business goals.
Duties:
- Provide technical support for business applications, resolving issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose application-related problems, working with vendors and internal teams as needed.
- Monitor application performance and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of business applications.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
- Document and track application issues and resolutions using Service Now.
- Conduct regular application maintenance, updates, and patches.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and support procedures.
- Provide training and support to end-users on application functionality and best practices.
- Assisting projects with software evaluation solutions
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Application support or a related role
- Strong knowledge of business application support and troubleshooting
- Experience in supporting the implementation, management, and maintenance of applications.
- Experience in ServiceNow platform and IT service management processes
- Professional experience working with various scripting or development languages eg Powershell, Python or similar
