About the role:

The Roy Hill team is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Specialist, Human Resources to join our prestigious headquarters on 5 days on, 2 days off Roster. This pivotal role involves providing core HR leadership to one or more portfolios, delivering precise data and strategic advice to senior leaders, including executives, to drive culture and productivity.

 

About you:

As a professional in Roy Hill’s corporate Human Resources team, you will be partnering with leadership and line managers to facilitate and align HR strategies across the business. Your astute approach and extensive knowledge will harmoniously implement HR policies, processes, and operational advice coaching across the entire HR life cycle for the assigned portfolio or department.

You will thrive in an environment surrounded by some of the most professional, supportive, and collaborative Human Resource colleagues in the industry. Bringing your sound knowledge and confident approach, you will be an invaluable asset to this high-performing team.


Duties:

  • Deliver both strategic and tactical HR support and programs, including performance management, organisational design, remuneration and benefits and employee relations.
  • Engage with key leaders, influence coaching, guiding and supporting talent management efforts.
  • Advise on performance matters and contribute to succession planning initiatives.
  • Support a culture of process improvement, streamlining HR processes. 

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in senior human resources roles advising senior leaders on all HR and ER issues.
  • Experience in mining and resources sector or construction environment. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that support a strong ability to create and maintain professional relationships
  • Thorough understanding of the Fair Work Act
  • Detailed understanding of HRIS and processes
