About the role

Our Risk and Compliance team is currently seeking a Senior Advisor Compliance to join them based in Perth. Reporting to the Manager Risk and Assurance, you will oversee compliance functions and support governance and assurance activities at Roy Hill. Specifically, this will include monitoring compliance obligations, developing and implementing compliance systems and processes, providing governance reporting, and monitoring requirements with legislation and approvals.

Duties

• Support the development and maintenance of the compliance and obligations management framework
• Provide guidance on compliance requirements and support the interpretation of regulations
• Establish and maintain compliance standards, policies, and systems 
• Participate in compliance risk assessments, assurance activities and lead compliance related training programs
• Maintain the legal obligations and commitments register and reporting schedules

Skills and experience

• Degree qualified, majoring in Commerce, Legal studies, or other relevant discipline
• Demonstrated experience in a compliance management position
• Knowledge and understanding of the application of enterprise corporate governance methodology, processes, and tools
• Heightened communication capability, influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to build credibility and trust
