About the opportunity
Join the Roy Hill 2026 Graduate Program and be part of the team that is creating the world’s largest smart mine and driving innovation in Australia’s iron ore industry.
Aligned to our business strategy, this year we are looking for students and graduates interested in pursuing careers in the following fields:
- Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, and Mining
- Information Technology: Software Engineering, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Automation
- Business/Commerce: Supply Chain and Logistics, Innovation, and Strategy
Joining us on a permanent basis, you’ll kick start your career on an immersive two-year development program, rotating across a variety of projects and teams designed to build your technical capability and nurture your unique talents and interests.

About you
To be successful in our graduate program, you will have a strong academic background and alignment to Roy Hill’s values. You’ll bring to our team a curious and flexible mindset; you enjoy tackling challenges and solving problems and are keen to learn and adapt to new challenges and environments. You’ll also have strong written and verbal communication skills and will enjoy working as part of a high performing, collaborative team where you’ll have responsibility, autonomy, and the ability to influence outcomes.
Program eligibility
- Our program is open to current students and recent graduates, who can commence our program on a full-time basis in February 2026
- International students are welcome to apply but must have full and unrestricted working rights within Australia
- If applying for our engineering pathways, you must be able to complete the program on a Fly-In-Fly-Out roster based at our Mine or Port Hedland operations
