About the role:

Seeking a Principal Organisational Change Management to the Strategic Programs Lead for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, on a Monday – Friday Roster based at Perth. Reporting to the Manager Strategic Programs, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the program achieves its objectives by enhancing employee awareness, knowledge, and adoption of changes.

As the OCM Lead, you will oversee and coordinate high-quality change management activities across the program. Your primary focus will be on the people side of change, which includes coaching leaders and key stakeholders to effectively demonstrate change leadership. You will be responsible for preparing, supporting, and equipping our employees to embrace and utilize changes in business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organizational structures.


Duties:

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities
    Apply and leverage the Roy Hill OCM Framework, process and tools to create a strategy and plan to support adoption of the changes required by our program – including holistic program, work packages and work streams.  Manage the change portfolio.
  • Support and deliver communication efforts
    Enable the design, development, delivery and management of key communications.  Coordinate and manage messaging across the program in line with program milestones.
  • Assess and reduce change impacts and mitigate change risks
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, assess change risk, identify key stakeholders and impacts, identify change risk mitigation, identify opportunity to reduce change impact.
  • Support training efforts
    Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Plan and manage change activity timing
  • Plan change activities across the whole program to ensure that our stakeholders understand how the change impacts them and how it fits into the bigger ‘picture’ of change across the business.
  • Support work stream and work package leads to prioritise and sequence change activities to manage interdependencies and provide targeted and timely outcomes for stakeholders and the wider business – reducing change impact where possible.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • A degree in a field such as business, economics, management, organisational change management or human resources.
  • Extensive experience in change management
  • Strong experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
  • Certification in change management from a recognised body such as Prosci.
  • Deep understanding of the principles and practices of change management methodologies.
  • Proven experience in leading, managing and delivering successful change outcomes for strategic and targeted business change
  • Experience and knowledge of project management best practice is desirable.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
