About the role:
The Roy Hill People Support Centre are currently seeking an Officer People Support Centre (Payroll) who has experience in accurate and timely processing of payroll related activities.
The People Support Centre is the hub for all transactional HR employee life cycle and pay changes. This position is on a Monday-Friday roster based at Perth and will report to the Superintendent People Support Centre. You will be responsible for the day to day processing of employee related transactions including pay, leave, employee benefits, deductions and claims.
Duties:
- Undertake day to day pay processing of employee related transactions in SuccessFactors (Employee Central) ensuring accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate data entry in SuccessFactors (Employee Central).
- Respond to employee and stakeholder queries via ServiceNow and the inbox.
- Manage and maintain employee benefit programs e.g. novated leases, car parking, travel benefits.
- Facilitate the processing and reimbursement of employee expense claims e.g. mileage, memberships etc.
- Facilitate the processing of workers compensation and income protection claims, including supporting queries.
- Process all Garnishee, Centrelink, Child Support and other deductions.
- Calculate and process termination payments in SuccessFactors (Employee Central).
- Calculate allowances and/or deductions and submit for processing by the Roy Hill payroll team.
- Undertake general Payroll administration and office duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a high volume HR, pay and deductions processing role, dealing with complex employment structures.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP and/or SuccessFactors Employee Central or similar HRIS/Payroll system.
- Current working knowledge of relevant Modern Awards and legislation, including National Employment Standards, Fair Work Act and long service leave etc
- Demonstrated knowledge of payroll regulations and processes
- High level of numerical ability and data entry skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure to adhere to deadlines, within ambiguous environments
- Ability to work within a team, as well as independently.
