About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Assistant to provide confidential, high-level support to our Chief Operations Officer (COO). This is your opportunity to work alongside a visionary leader in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same.
As the Executive Assistant to the COO, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the executive office. You will be the trusted right-hand to the COO, applying your exceptional organisational skills, administrative expertise, and customer service focus to support the wider team and stakeholders across all levels of the business.
Duties
- Manage the COO’s emails with confidentiality and professionalism, ensuring appropriate direction and timely responses to correspondence
- Coordinate and manage the COO’s diary and meetings, including preparation and distribution of agendas, minutes, and follow-up on action items
- Compose, edit, and send correspondence on behalf of the COO with precision and attention to detail
- Prepare reports, memos, presentations, and data as required, including conducting research and proofreading to ensure accuracy
- Autonomously manage administrative tasks, including the coordination of team functions, events, and travel arrangements
Skills and Experience
- Organised and proactive in your work approach with the ability to pre-empt stakeholder requirements
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise work in a high-pressure environment
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills that demonstrate high attention to detail and customer service focused
- Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills, and experience with SAP and SAMS
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience working as an executive assistant within the resources sector will be well regarded
