About the role:

The Supply Chain team is currently seeking an Advisor External Repairs to join them on a Monday to Friday roster based at Perth, with regular travel to our sites required as part of the role. Reporting to the Superintendent Rotables & Services Delivery, you will be responsible for providing input into the development and refinement of the External Repair management systems, process, procedures and related documentation. The role is equally responsible for delivery of continuous improvement of the External Repairs process, to ensure equipment repairs meet quality, time and cost objectives.


Duties:

  • Project manage selected vendors to deliver quality, timeliness and cost KPI’s aligned with QA and QC objectives
  • Manage the Rotables/External Repairs process ensuring all repairs comply with OEM and Roy Hill specifications
  • Monitor turnaround time and ensure items are returned to the relevant warehouse by the site-specified due date
  • Build solid long-term partnerships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform inspections and audits with related vendors to ensure high quality refurbishments have been completed

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Mechanical / Electrical Trade certification and senior level experience in resource industry maintenance
  • Ability to interpret and/or create technical documents and drawings
  • Solid understanding of materials management, planning and SAP MM or PM Modules
  • Strong interpersonal communication and negotiating skills
  • Mix of Fixed or Mobile Plant maintenance background (Desirable)
  • C Class Manual Licence
