About the role

Our Operational Readiness team provides support and expertise to the Operations team to ensure the safe and consistent delivery of operationally ready projects. An exciting opportunity currently exists for an Advisor Asset Readiness to join the team based in Perth.


Reporting to the Superintendent Operational Readiness & Interface, you will ensure all equipment provided by Roy Hill Operational, Sustaining Capital, or Growth Capital Project teams is set up for sustainable operation and maintenance. This will include cataloguing of materials, setting stock levels, preparing maintenance strategies, and ensuring activation to align with site delivery and commissioning timelines. You will also conduct equipment criticality analysis to optimise maintenance strategies and material inventory levels, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and efficient plant operations.



  • Compile vendor parts lists for new assets supplied by capital projects
  • Coordinate with on-site teams to receive project spares and input into warehouse stock
  • Work with the projects team, operations and vendors to order long lead items
  • Create and approve planned maintenance inspections (PMIs)
  • Catalogue materials in SAP, create SAP tasks lists, and create and submit SAP LSMW load sheets
  • Build Functional Location (FLOC) structures and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for new equipment
  • Ensure maintenance tactics are in line with statutory requirements


Skills and experience

  • Tertiary or trade qualifications in maintenance, engineering or similar technical field
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP PM and associated modules, including the development of SAP master data in the areas of FLOC creation, BOMs, maintenance plans and strategies
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills and the ability to influence positive outcomes
  • Large scale heavy industry experience and maintenance improvement or work management experience
  • Experience with maintenance systems and asset management operational readiness will be beneficial
