About the role:

The Technology Business Partnering team is currently seeking an AI Business Partner to join them on a Monday – Friday Roster based at Perth. Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for driving the awareness and understanding of artificial intelligence capabilities across Roy Hill. This role is crucial in fostering an AI-savvy culture, upskilling employees, and ensuring that all departments recognize and leverage the benefits of AI technologies to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and innovation.


Duties:

  • Develop and execute an organization-wide AI literacy program to educate employees on AI concepts, tools, and their practical applications within the mining industry.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to identify AI learning needs and tailor training initiatives to various roles and functions within Roy Hill.
  • Create engaging content and resources, such as workshops, seminars, and e-learning modules, to promote AI knowledge and skills development.
  • Establish an AI community of practice within Roy Hill to facilitate knowledge sharing, best practices, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of AI education programs, adjusting strategies to maximize engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to ensure that AI adoption is sustainable and continues to evolve with the organization's needs.
  • Organize and host AI-focused events, such as hackathons or innovation challenges, to stimulate interest and creative thinking around AI opportunities.
  • Assess and optimize the utilization of existing AI tools and platforms across the company, ensuring they are fully leveraged for maximum value and efficiency.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Education, Business, Communication, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on technology and adult learning principles
  • experience in leading or significantly contributing to AI or technology implementation projects. This experience is crucial for understanding the challenges and opportunities of integrating AI into business processes.
  • Familiarity with the mining industry or related sectors where AI has significant applications (such as manufacturing or logistics) would be highly beneficial.
  • Professional experience in designing and delivering educational programs, preferably with a focus on technology adoption and digital literacy.
  • A solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including familiarity with different types of algorithms, data processing, and the ability to grasp the technical aspects of AI tools and platforms.
  • Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects related to AI initiatives and educational programs.
