About the role:

 

Roy Hill's Mobile Maintenance team is on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Drill Fitter to enhance our operations.

As a key player in our team, you'll report directly to the Supervisor of Mobile Maintenance. Your primary role involves providing repairs and maintenance services to our esteemed fleet, including the advanced Pit Vipers & D65 rigs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our heavy equipment fleet.

Duties:

 

  • Conduct thorough inspections, servicing, repairs, and maintenance across our heavy equipment fleet, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Swiftly and effectively resolve mechanical and electrical issues to maximize machine availability.
  • Execute both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as per directives, maintaining the highest standards of work.
  • Utilize your deep knowledge of products, techniques, and processes to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Must hold an Australian recognized trade certificate.
  • Required licenses: Forklift, EWP, crane, dogging, and basic rigging.
  • Possession of a current WA manual C class driver’s licence.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and perform high-quality repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and high-pressure air systems.
  • Proven experience in maintaining heavy mobile equipment, specifically:
    • Epiroc Pit Viper 271
    • Epiroc D65
