About the role:

The Asset Management team are currently seeking a Scheduler Mobile Maintenance to join the team on a 4/3 site-based roster. Reporting to the Superintendent Planning & Scheduling, you will be responsible for implementing effective operations and equipment maintenance schedules to manage the mobile activities and health of maintenance assets.

 

The main objective of this position is to optimise future production and maintenance activities to maximise long term value creation from the asset. The process involves considering production requirements, available labour resources, materials, tooling, and equipment to develop a schedule that minimises the impact on production and ensures efficient completion of the required maintenance work.


Duties:

  • Champion the maintenance planning and work management processes promoting a culture of equipment care and reliability within the execution team.
  • Conduct regular reviews with the execution Supervisors to prioritise schedule optimisation and improvement.
  • Continuously monitor and analyse mobile performance and equipment condition results from mobile activities, equipment inspections, condition monitoring results and specialist testing to manage schedules.
  • Monitor work order backlog and provide ready to execute jobs for opportunity maintenance windows.
  • Provide feedback to planners on work groupings and execution alignment.
  • Liaise with reliability engineering when required to optimise schedules in line with asset criticality.

 

  • Skills and experience  
  • Technical field; or appropriate trade qualification with a demonstrated combination of training and experience
  • Planning and scheduling qualification at certificate level or above desirable
  • Experience with the operation or maintenance of Mobile Plant Assets (exposure to Mine Specific assets desired but not essential)
  • Experience in maintenance positions within the mining industry desirable
