About the role:
The Mobile Maintenance team are currently seeking a Leading Hand (Coordinator) to join the team.
This role is responsible for coordinating labour resources and equipment within the Mobile Maintenance team to ensure all repairs and maintenance of equipment are carried out safely and efficiently.
Essential Key Technical Responsibilities:
- Provide relief supervision coverage to the wider team daily and during leave or absences, such as training and inductions.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities, while monitoring and reporting on progress against schedules.
- Input data, employee timesheets, and maintenance history into the Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist with maintaining relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support recruitment processes for the Mobile Maintenance team.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance team.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize maintenance activities and resources.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Australian recognised Trade qualification in Heavy Equipment/Mechanical Fitting.
- Experience in the use of CMMS and Microsoft Office programs for data management and calculations.
Desirable:
- Additional certifications in maintenance planning or supervision.
- Advanced training in heavy mobile equipment maintenance.
- Experience with the following heavy mobile equipment:
- Hitachi Digger Fleet (EX8000/ EX5600/ EX3600)
- Liebherr (9400/ 9800)
- CAT Dozers (D10T/ D10T2/ D11/ D11T)
- Pit Viper 271 Drills
