About the role:
 

The Water Network team is currently seeking an Electrical Maintainer to join the teamon a job share roster - 2 weeks on 6 weeks off, day and nightshift.
 

Reporting to the Supervisor Water Maintenance, the Dewatering Electrician is responsible for maintaining the electrical assets within the network.
Operated through SCADA to manage the distribution of water across dewatering and reinjection bores, remote monitoring, transfer ponds, blended treatment facilities, processing, and dust suppression.
 

Working on a variety of assets including but not limited to: VSG Generators, level transducers, Flow meters, electrical conductivity sensors, pressure instruments, centrifugal & submersible pumps, communication equipment, fuel systems and Solar powered arrays.

 

Duties:
 

  • Uphold mandatory electrical statutory compliance.
  • High safety focus and risk perception at all times.
  • Completion of supporting and reporting maintenance documentation via SAP administration.
  • Complete electrical maintenance across the Mine and Bore Fields.
  • Installing new equipment or modifications to existing electrical equipment.
  • Calibrate and monitor electrical instruments.
  • Working infield autonomously

Skills and Experience:
 

  • Previous electrical Dewatering experience preferred.
  • Fault finding on generators – VSG.
  • A grade Electrical Worker’s Licence.
  • Current WA Drivers Licence, Unrestricted C Class
  • HR Licence (Advantageous)
  • Demonstrates commitment to team goals, and value each person’s contribution.
  • Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving capability.
