About the role
Join our dynamic Non-Process Infrastructure team as the Manager Travel and Accommodation, where you will lead a diverse and energetic people logistics team. Duties
- Develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of travel and accommodation services
- Collaborate with department leaders and village services manager to align strategies with operational objectives
- Manage budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and planning processes
- Lead the recruitment, training, and performance management of travel and accommodation team
- Engage proactively with stakeholders to review processes to ensure performance objectives are met
- Implement strategic productivity projects or business initiatives and process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in travel and accommodation management
Duties

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
Skills and experience
- Proven experience managing and executing large scale remote travel and accommodation
- Expertise in site-based employee travel management, including major shutdowns and project travel forecasting
- Mining and/or resources industry experience including experience leading multi-disciplined teams
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to analyse data to assess performance, and implement improvement actions
- Collaborative and solutions focused with the ability to positively influence change
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related field
