Roy Hill is currently seeking a Supervisor Fixed Plant to join the team on a 14-14 day and nights FIFO roster from Perth to Port Hedland.

Reporting to a Superintendent Port Maintenance, you will be responsible for development of your team to deliver safe and effective execution of maintenance plans. This will include rapid response to equipment issues and the maximisation of availability and reliability at an optimised cost.

 

Accountabilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Providing leadership, guidance and direction to employees and contractor partners
  • Guiding your team to complete maintenance work in a safe and methodical manner, to a high standard, with little need for re-work
  • Ensuring site compliance with regards to Australian Standards and other regulations from relevant governing bodies
  • Ensuring the equipment will be reliable and able to operate between shuts, at full design rate, under normal operating conditions

 

For you to achieve outstanding results in this position, your experience may include the following:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ mining experience is favourable
  • Proven track record supervising people  
  • Transferrable safety knowledge and skills
  • Current WA drivers’ licence, unrestricted C class
