We are currently seeking a Trainer Assessor for Processing to join the training team on an 8:6 roster at the Roy Hill Mine. Reporting to the Training Supervisor Processing, you will be responsible for verification of competency, delivery of Process plant operations in all operational areas.


This position will initially be offered as a 12-month fixed term contract until 30 June 2022. 


Accountabilities include but are not limited to:


  • Train and assess all Roy Hill Process personnel in all areas of the Processing plant
  • Train and assess all Roy Hill personnel that currently hold High Risk Work Licence to Operate equipment or perform High Risk work
  • Ensure all training material remains current to any operating standards published by the original equipment manufacturers and as provided by the maintenance department
  • Revise all training documentation n collaboration with the Training Supervisor and subject matter experts

For you to achieve outstanding results in this position, your experience will include the following:


  • Valid Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – mandatory requirement
  • Hold a Certificate III in Resource Processing and be able to demonstrate application in resource processing operations
  • Current Australian driver’s license, minimum class C and HR
  • Current and valid Australian High-Risk Work License CN, CV, DG,RB, WP, LF
  • Experience using a computer-based learning management system
