About The Role:

Plan, co-ordinate and control the design, procurement and construction phases of our Marble Bar Road Upgrade (MBRU) project related to our McPhee Creek mine development. The successful applicant will ensure completion in accordance with the requirements of the project, within time and cost to achieve the execution and delivery of the project. This role will also provide support to the Project Director, Package Managers, discipline engineers, contractors and construction personnel. 

 

Main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Support the projects contractors, review the pre-contracts planning, subcontractor and materials procurement, on-site project management, quality control, works delivery and contract close-out.
  • Support Superintendent and Works Supervisors in effective scheduling and resourcing of works.
  • Ensure compliance with design and safety standards, supervising project contractors, delegating tasks, and communicating with stakeholders and contractors. 

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary degree qualification in Civil Engineering is a MUST.
  • Ability to work a 12/9 FIFO roster. 
  • Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in civil/road construction in Australia.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical civil construction experience working with Main Roads WA (MRWA) specifications
  • Possess the ability to safely deliver projects. 
  • Possess a high level of commitment and drive for success.
  • Have experience in managing civil engineering projects from start to finish, including planning, design, construction and commissioning.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and safety regulations.
